The Day Biofeedback Programme — in development

Relaxing your jaw is a skill. Train it like one.

The daytime half of biofeedback: your live muscle signal on screen, training games that teach your jaw what "fully released" actually feels like, and gentle alerts that catch the clenching between sessions. In development now — built with the people on this list.

    How the training works

    Three parts, one skill

    See

    Your tension, live

The sensor puts your jaw's signal on screen in real time. Most people watch it spike and say the same thing: "I had no idea I was doing that right now."

    Play

    Games that train release

Guided targets ask you to drop the signal on command, hold it down, and find the difference between "less tense" and actually released. Score, streaks, progress — because practice you enjoy is practice you repeat.

    Between

    Alerts keep you honest

Off-screen, the sensor keeps watch and taps you when the old habit creeps back — the release you trained, cued at the moment you need it.

    Where it stands

The sensor is real. The daytime training is not finished.

Daytime awareness cues run in the app today. The live-signal training — the part that teaches you what fully released feels like — is being built and tested with early users. There is no price, pre-order or date yet. When it is ready, this list hears first and tests first.

    How this fits

Our biofeedback programmes currently run for sleep. This is the other half.

If your jaw is busiest at night, the Night Biofeedback Programme is the one that exists — twelve weeks of biofeedback while you sleep, starting from a measured baseline. Plenty of people find their load is mostly in the day instead, and for them the answer right now is the app: awareness check-ins, guided release work and a resting position to come back to, free. The Day Biofeedback Programme is the half we are still building: the same loop — measure, notice, release — pointed at the hours you are awake.

The app works today, before any programme does. Guided routines, a symptom and trigger diary, and the release work you can do at a desk. It's free, it works without the sensor, and it's where most people start.

    • 18 structured programmes, from awareness training to relaxation and habit reversal
    • A symptom and trigger diary, with summaries you can hand to your dentist
    • Built around international best practice for bruxism and TMD self-management

“I didn't expect much — I'd tried a lot of things. What surprised me was how much I liked having something structured to follow, and not doing it alone.”
