    How is this different from a night guard?
    Night guards protect your teeth from wear, but research shows they don't reduce grinding — and may actually increase clenching activity in some people. JawSense helps you build awareness of the behaviour itself, not just protect your teeth.
    Does this work for sleep bruxism?
    Yes. Our biofeedback device (JawSense ONE) delivers gentle awareness cues both day and night — during sleep, clenching happens during micro-arousals where cues can help without fully waking you. For an additional approach, we're developing a neurostimulation device that actively triggers jaw relaxation during sleep, based on 25+ years of research reporting ~50-80% reduction.
    Is this medically validated?
    Yes. Our exercise protocols come from published RCTs (Lindfors 2019/2020, BSOS 2018). Our EMA methodology is based on Zani/Bracci research. We're aligned with international clinical best practice and funded by Innovate UK for device and app development.
